Not at all! The Pad is 100% open to the public. You can easily rent courts by the hour or join our daily drop-in open play sessions. We do offer memberships that give you unlimited open play, priority 7-day advanced booking, and and discounts on leagues and programming, but anyone is welcome to book and play anytime we have open courts.

Think of Padel as a mix between tennis and squash, played in an enclosed glass court using solid, stringless paddles where you can play the ball off the walls. It’s fast, highly strategic, and deeply social. Pickleball is played on a smaller open court with a net and a plastic wiffle-style ball. We have world-class indoor courts for both sports right here!

Don't sweat it if you don't have gear! We have high-quality Padel and Pickleball paddles available for rent at the front desk, and balls are available for purchase if you want a new set. Just show up in comfortable athletic clothes and non-marking court shoes (or tennis shoes), and we’ll handle the rest.

Yes! All of our courts are completely indoors and fully climate-controlled. No blinding sun, no midday Tucson heat, and no heavy winds messing up your shots. You get perfect, tournament-quality playing conditions 365 days a year.

We cater to all skill levels! If you’re completely new to racket sports, our free introductory clinics will have you playing and having fun on day one. For experienced players looking to raise their DUPR rating or dial in their game, we offer private coaching, strategy clinics, and high-performance drills with the top coaches in town.

100%! You never need to bring a full group to get on the court. Our team specializes in matchmaking and community building. We run structured Open Play sessions, "King/Queen of the Court" scrambles, and level-based leagues where you’re automatically mixed into games with players at your skill level. Friday and Saturday nights at The Pad are a full scene! We turn up the energy with special social mixers, music, and weekend match play. It’s the perfect alternative nightlife spot to kick off the weekend, bring a date for something unique, or hang out with friends. Grab a court, hit the open play, and then head to the bar for local craft beers and a killer community vibe. And watch out for our semi-regular karaoke nights (winning team picks the song the losing team has to sing…)
